Overview
Swinley Forrest is a fan favourite with the Mount Evo team. With us being located in south Oxfordshire, Swinley forest is one of the nearest and best suited dedicated mountain bike trails, ideal for those living in the South East or London. The forest is host to all sorts of activities, from Go Ape, horse riding, science centre and most importantly the Mountain bike trails. At the hub of the forest you’ll find great facilities to make the most of your day, from personal coaching, bike workshop incase anything goes wrong and cafe when you need that well deserved rest! There is also extensive local wildlife including Ground Nesting Birds such as the Nightjar, Dartford Warbler and Woodlark.
The Trails
The trails here are a go too for our community. Preston Williams, national downhill champion and two times British mx champion uses Solo on his convertible MX-5 when travelling down to his local trails at Swinley forest. The park is suited to all abilities with an extensive 24km of trails, with 1km of green, 9km of blue and 14km of red routes. A big advantage of these trails is they are built from quarried material following the contours of the forest, so they’re ideal for all weathers and seasons. Blue runs flow through the woods with moderate sweeping descents and inclines. Transitioning to red runs with steeper berms, longer descents, climbs, roots, drops and a few tables to contend with.
